Hello! I am Emerson Wong-Godfrey, a sophomore who lives in Seattle, Washington. 

I am currently trying to reach CM before I go to college (1951 USCF, 1945 FIDE!)

Goals:

- Reach 2200 in Rapid/Blitz
- Reach 2100 in Chesstempo
- Reach 3000 in Lichess puzzles (Follow my lichess)
- Read Python book (Tigran Petrosian) and Zagreb (famous players playing)
- Experiment with comfortable openings

Greatest Moments in my chess career:

• Co-winner of the WA class championship expert section
• 5/9 in 2024 Reykjavik Open, and also got a chance to play Dina Belenkaya!
• Biggest scalps vs 2200s-2250s
• 200 point rating jump in WA winter classic 2023!
