Hiya everyone! My name is Terry, but you can call me Deflection, Spooky, or Germonies. I joined chess.com 2 years ago for the chess. Im an introverted person who got sucked onto chess.com... I got introduced into the social side of chess.com early 2023. I'm born 2/24/12 and I'm proudly a Pisces. I enjoy chess♟and badminton🏸, and really love animals! Avid chess player ♟: I got taught how to play by my summer camp friends in the summer of 2022. I joined chess.com in hopes of learning more and playing. Since then I have improved a lot in different areas. I hope to become 1500-1600+ this year!

Cat person 😼: I love cats! I met my first cat (personally) when I flew to Florida in the 2024 summer. I was scared of them at first (lol) but I got used to them, and they were really cute! One of them particularly always cuddled up around my legs 🫠. Cats are so cute don't you think?

Badminton sweat  🏸: Badminton is my favorite sport! Sometimes my brain is too slow to keep up with the ball and my arm hits the ball by autopilot! I swear my arm moves by itself. Anyway I learned badminton when I was 7-8 years old, I recently started playing more and and is taking lessons. 🏸
