I mostly watch Kdramas so I will give yall my list of favorites:

(I am also not a big fan of romantic genres so these are more action/comedy based kdramas)

1. Vagabond: I think this is inspired by the "Sewol Ship Crash" in 2014 where a Korean school took their students on a ship for a field trip, but it ended up sinking and killing majority of them. It is claimed that it was the captain's fault because he knew the ship was about to crash but fled himself and not warned anyone else. He was able to make it out alive but is currently facing a lifetime in prison for killing hundreds of innocent students. Anyways this drama is about a plane crashing with bunch of students, and the uncle of one of the students who died was trying to figure out why the plane crashed, and he was able to figure out that it was on purpose so he became a spy to hunt down the guys who took part in the crashing of the plane. It is an action based drama with cops, spies, murder, killing, and a little bit of chemistry between the two main leads, but thats about it.

2. Black: this is also solely more murder mystery type of kdrama. The main lead is a girl, and she has this power to foresee how people die. So she partners up with a cop to find the serial killers and save people.

3. Voice: this is a cop drama. The main lead is a girl cop and her dad was also a head cop but was viciously murdered by a serial killer that has been killing many people. She also has a talent for hearing, so she is able to catch little noises and sounds through the calls she receives at the police station. While uncovering a murder crime, it leads her on the path to find the killer of her father. This has a lot of twists and turns because the killer they thought they found was actually not the main killer, so a lot goes on here. I would highly recommend this, but some parts can get very gruesome.

4. Crash Landing On You: honestly if u haven't watched this, idk what you are doing...This is literally my favorite Kdrama of all!!! And I have literally rewatched it over a hundred times!! It's basically about a South Korean business woman accidentally ending up in North Korea, and she is trying to find her way back home. However, during her time in the North, a soldier helps her hide but they eventually fall in love. This isn't the typical romantic type of series at all; it's more of the type that illustrates the concept of "i will sacrifice my life for you" and it is literally the most heartwarming thing i have ever watched. The two main lead's relationship throughout the drama is just so cute. This is also more history based because it talks a lot about the life in North Korea and the drastic difference it has compared to the South. So i definitely enjoyed it!!!
